Our Tips When Searching Properties

  • You might find your new home early in your home search.

  • Once you find your new home, make an offer and take a break from looking at additional homes.

  • If you find a property you would like to view, send the property information to your agent. Your agent will confirm that the home fits within your criteria.

  • On-line search information, such as Zillow, Trulia etc, can be incorrect and can skew your ideas on purchase prices, monthly payments, and resale values.

Our Tips When Viewing Homes

  • Limit the number of homes you see per day to 4 homes. You want to remember each home and not get overwhelmed.

  • Take notes while you are viewing each home. Note the features you like, and the aspects of the home you wish were different.

  • Have all the decision makers present. Having everyone present at showings allows you to discuss the properties as you see them. Also, there might be situations where you want to make an offer immediately.

  • Know the non-negotiable and negotiable features you want in your home. Before you start the showing process identify key features that important in your new home.
